Better late than never!
India's five month old picture is a little late, as I mysteriously (WILL MY BRAIN EVER RETURN TO NORMAL?!?) placed her month stickers in a VERY secret hiding space! On the way back from Belgium, visiting my sister Liz and acquiring her old month stickers with the exception of month 5, I miraculously found them. So here goes her stats;
When India was weighed near her five month birthday, she weighed in at 6.92kg ( 15.22lbs.)
She also was cutting her first tooth, which you can see in this picture and has since cut her second tooth, slightly visible right of her first tooth.
She is now sitting up unassisted, for the most part. She tends to topple over if she looks up.
She rolls over onto her back from her stomach and vice versa unassisted... not too often, but is figuring out that it eventually gets her somewhere. Also when on her back, she is peering over her shoulder to see what's going on in the room.
She still has her arms out in the "flying" position.
She is now giving us beautiful smiles on a regular basis and laughs and squeals if she finds something funny.
She also is blowing raspberries. This goes both ways; could either mean that she is happy or has also been known to replace her cries.
Hair is slowly coming and filling out, so looks like she'll have thick hair. Colour is still undecided; somedays it goes golden, somedays red, somedays dark. Her eyebrows have also grown in quite a bit and give a lot of expression to her faces.
Eye colour is still blue. Maybe it's here to stay???
Sleep is still up and down; with some nights 7pm-4or5am, where others she wakes up every three hours for comfort and a feed. I'm sure this has something to do with her little toothies coming in....
Stay tuned for India's six month picture in a couple of weeks!
